2026/09/10
Welcome to Remove BG ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our AI background removal platform at remove-bg.studio (the "Service").
Last Updated: September 10, 2026
We may collect account details such as your name and email address, payment details processed by Stripe, device and diagnostic information, and the videos, images, prompts, and settings you submit to use the Service.
We use information to provide and secure the Service, process subscriptions and credit purchases, deliver support, prevent fraud and abuse, communicate service updates when permitted, and improve reliability and usability.
Your uploaded media and instructions are processed to remove or replace backgrounds, generate previews, and provide downloads. We may use carefully selected processing, storage, analytics, payment, and email providers to operate the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models without your explicit consent.
Media may be retained in your account until you delete it. Deleted media is removed from active systems within 30 days where technically feasible; account data is removed within 90 days after account deletion unless retention is required by law or needed to resolve a security, payment, or legal matter.
We share information only with service providers needed to operate the Service, including cloud storage and hosting providers, Stripe for payments, analytics providers, email providers, and AI processing providers. We do not sell personal information. We use reasonable safeguards such as encrypted transport, access controls, and secure payment processing, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of your personal data, and you may opt out of marketing communications at any time. To make a request, email support@remove-bg.studio or use our contact page.
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and understand aggregate use of the Service. We may update this policy by posting a revised version with a new date. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@remove-bg.studio.
This Privacy Policy is effective as of September 10, 2026.
